We arrived at the Palms RV Park on January 15 and stayed until January 22. We came here to visit with our friends Colleen and Owen Beveridge from Spruce Grove, AB. This resort is just outside of Phoenix, AZ and is quite expensive ($639 for one week).<\/p>\n

It has many amenities that I can see myself doing if I was staying longer. There are 2,400 to 2,500 sites (Garden homes, Park Models and RV sites).<\/div>\n

This resort is more active than Fortuna, but it’s also 2x bigger. You definitely need a bike or golf cart around here or you have to drive everywhere.<\/div>\n

Colleen and Owen were wonderful hosts.\u00a0 We ate at their favorite Mexican restaurant<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

and also, their favorite brunch place, The Big House ????.\u00a0 Owen can also BBQ a mean hotdog, lol.<\/div>\n

Fun times on the Pickleball court, pool and hot tub, golf courses, touring around and getting our fill of games and much laughter.<\/div>\n

The ladies had a wonderful day shopping, touring and enjoying lunch.\u00a0 I love these girls.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our last afternoon we spent at a car show\/festival.\u00a0 A lot of unmasked people and no social distancing so we stayed on the outskirts for the most part.\u00a0 I really enjoyed talking with the USA Army Recruiting men and petting someone’s pet alligator (on a leash and mouth taped closed).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
