We left Casa Grande in the afternoon after a car show\/street market.\u00a0 Us girls had a great time together.<\/p>\n

At the fair Laureen got to pet an alligator.<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

We stayed in a casino parking lot in Mesa to be close to the Hulm’s hotel.\u00a0 Sunday the 6 of us went to drag faces and watched a drifting competition.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In the afternoon, Laureen and Vickey enjoyed the pool while the others stayed at the races.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It was with a heavy heart we said goodbye to the Hulm’s Sunday night, but memories were made.<\/div>\n
On Monday we went to the Desert Botanical Gardens in Phoenix.\u00a0 It was a really pretty desert garden with Dale Chihuly blown glass exhibit dispersed throughout. I made a separate post for that.<\/div>\n

Tuesday was errand day and we stayed in another Casino parking lot with a multilevel driving range across the street.\u00a0 I have never seen a multi-level driving range before, just in the movies.<\/div>\n

On Wednesday we went to Scottsdale for a Medieval Joust Dinner.\u00a0 First time for Mark and Laureen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\u00a0It was fun cheering on the Blue Knight and booing the others.\u00a0 Laureen was given a flower<\/div>\n

and Kim was given a ribbon that said “Queen of the Kingdom “<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

The meal was really tasty, and you ate with your hands. It was fun to drink the soup out of the bowl.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our seats were right at the arena edge with a great view and luckily it wasn’t dusty.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Our Knight didn’t win but fun was had by all.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Thursday Mark and Vince headed to the Barrett Jackson Auction.\u00a0 Kim and Laureen did laundry.\u00a0 Now is that fair ?????????<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Friday we headed to Tucson where there are high wind advisory alerts and bad weather is starting to come in. We are camping on BLM land in the desert. Vince is catching a cold so a good time for some downtime.<\/div>\n
