We arrived in El Paso on Sunday, February 6th.\u00a0 We missed out on the last spot in a casino parking lot and ended up in a Walmart parking lot instead ????.\u00a0 I can’t believe how many trains go through El Paso during the night.\u00a0 Ugg ????.<\/p>\n

Mark had an appointment at 8am on the Feb 7 to get the trailer furnace looked at.\u00a0 It doesn’t keep a steady temperature and the last 4 nights we’ve had to run the generator every night to keep warm.\u00a0 Turns out, it’s just too small for the trailer.\u00a0 Vince had an appointment that same morning for regular maintenance on his truck.<\/div>\n

Even on holidays, you have to do mundane things. Laundry \u2714.\u00a0 \u00a0 Groceries \u2714.<\/div>\n
Banking \u2714.\u00a0 \u00a0 Dump tanks \u2714.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Monday was Vince and Kim’s 40th wedding anniversary \u2764.\u00a0 We celebrated with a wine tasting at the vineyard that we are camped at and supper at a BBQ joint.<\/div>\n

We also went to see Trump’s Wall and the Rio Grande River.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The wall is going over and down the mountain.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

<\/a><\/div>\n

The Rio Grande River is blocked until May, then they let the water flow for irrigating the crops.\u00a0 Mostly pecans in this area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Tuesday, we visited the Border Patrol Museum.<\/div>\n

It was a very good museum and quite emotional reading about the fallen border patrol members and what happened to them.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We were planning on going to the Holocaust Museum, but after the border patrol museum we decided it was enough for the day.\u00a0 Off we went to the pit stop for the night, Licon’s dairy farm and petting zoo.<\/div>\n

This little cutie stole Laureen’s heart.\u00a0 The dude below kept putting his hooves on my stomach begging for food.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We plan to be on the road for 8am tomorrow (February 9th), and we have 2 days of long drives until we reach San Antonio.\u00a0 Hopefully them critters like to sleep in ????.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We were going to spend the night, February 9th, in Stockton Texas but decided to drive a few more hours toward San Antonio.\u00a0 Of course, we had to stop and snap a selfie with Paisano Pete, the 2nd largest Road Runner in the world.\u00a0 Standing almost 12 feet tall!<\/div>\n

The scenery is quite beautiful, but I guess it is everywhere.<\/div>\n
