The traffic driving to New Orleans was horrendous.\u00a0 We didn’t stop.\u00a0 Thought we were going to be camping in a refinery.\u00a0 Got stuck at a train crossing.\u00a0 Like forever!<\/p>\n

We did make it to our campsite at Bonne Carre Spillway campground.<\/div>\n

How Vince finds these free places just amazes me.\u00a0 You have to reserve, and we can stay for up to 2 weeks. Don’t think we will be here quite that long.\u00a0 It’s only a 40-minute drive to the French Quarter in New Orleans.<\/div>\n

Our drive from Houston to here was very neat.\u00a0 We drove on the Atchafalaya bridge that was 29 km long.\u00a0 It connects Baton Rouge and Lafayette, Louisiana.<\/div>\n
