The first thing that we did when we arrived in New Orleans was to go to the French Quarter Visitor’s Center. We booked our tours and started the fun from there. What Frank (the booking guide) neglected to tell us was that with the parade routes during Mardis Gras, the tours will be different because they can’t get through the streets.\u00a0 Basically, all we got to see was a cemetery and the I-10 highway. Very disappointed.\u00a0 We missed seeing City Park, Saint Louis Cathedral, Museum district, Katrina, Jackson Square and the French Quarter.\u00a0 Luckily, we stayed in the New Orleans area long enough that we could do it on our own. The only thing we didn’t get to do was tour City Park.<\/p>\n

For the Ghost tour, the guys decided to stay at a pub, so Kim and Laureen went.\u00a0 We chose the Historical tour, and we learned a lot.\u00a0 The history was quite sad actually.\u00a0 As for seeing ghosts, it didn’t happen.\u00a0 The guide told us about happenings but none of them were in the 2020’s. I think 2010 or 2011 was the last documented sighting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
