We did a combination of a city bus tour and exploring on our own.\u00a0\u00a0The tour was excellent, and we learned a lot from our guide, Ramon.<\/div>\n

We had a great talk with the Secret Service men.<\/div>\n

Cool fact:\u00a0 in the mid 70’s, groups of protesters would camp outside the White House to protest. The government put a stop to it BUT whoever was there was grandfathered in and not forced to move.\u00a0 If for any reason they leave their tent area, it will be dismantled and removed.\u00a0 There is 1 tent still there.\u00a0 This guy gets roommates, family and friends to stay when he needs to leave.\u00a0 This tent has been occupied continuously for 55 years.<\/div>\n
