There is no camping to be found in New York City.\u00a0 We stayed about 1.5 hours out of the city at Allaire State Park in New Jersey.\u00a0 We learned the train schedule pretty quickly.<\/p>\n

New Jersey\/New York are not RV friendly.\u00a0 I highly suggest flying and staying in hotels.<\/div>\n

We had a really big day Thursday.\u00a0 Up at 6 am and in the truck before 7am, then drive 45 minutes to the train station to take it into NYC. Arrived around 9am.<\/div>\n

We booked a city bus tour from 10am to 4pm, in a luxury bus.\u00a0 We couldn’t get a ticket for the glass top bus, so it was difficult at times to see the height of buildings.\u00a0 Well worth the tour, especially if you only have a few days here.<\/div>\n

We caught the 2nd last train out of New York and got home just before 1 am.<\/div>\n

A 19 hour day, and 24,184 steps, which includes the 6 hour bus tour and 1 hour horse-drawn carriage ride thru Central Park.<\/div>\n

Exhausted and every part of our bodies hurt. Wouldn’t have it any other way.<\/div>\n
