Tidal Bore. This is where the direction that the tide is going controls what direction the water in the river flows. Very cool to see the time that the river flow switches direction.<\/div>\n

It was so much fun, Mark and I did it a few times!\u00a0 Basically, you put your car in neutral and the magnetic force pulls you back up the hill.<\/div>\n

Some say it’s an optical illusion and gravity is doing the work, but Laureen thinks it’s magic.<\/div>\n

We stayed in a casino parking lot Sunday night and bright and early Monday morning we were off to Sydney, Nova Scotia to catch the ferry to Newfoundland.<\/div>\n

On Monday night we stayed in North Sydney in an Arena Parking lot that was surprisingly quite quiet.\u00a0Except for the local drug dealer meeting his customers ????.
